HEXAGON DANCE COLLECTIVE
Hexagon Dance Collective is a collaborative dance company created by six best friends. Their logo needed to embody the collaborative spirit of its founders and current process, while embracing the geometric nature of the name. The mark was developed through experimentation with interaction of the letterforms of "hexagon" and the actual six sided symbol. The typeface used for the logotype was born with the development of the logo mark, creating an inter-dependent bond between the elements.
While the project began solely as a logo design, it has since expanded to include brand development, web design, and design of all promotional materials, including business cards, postcards, and posters.
